Desperate for a high

It’s midnight. It’s Thursday, so I have to go to work tomorrow.

Yet, I can’t stop watching my Netflix. My need for a hit is so bad that I’ve now resorted to watching the show I’m into on the Internet. Because it’s not available yet on DVD, but it is available online. And I CANNOT WAIT for it to come on DVD. I must watch this episode. And the next one. And just one more after that.

I keep looking at the clock, then at the computer screen showcasing my drug of choice. I’m tired. I have to get up early. I know this isn’t right. But then, “click”. Next episode. One more hit.

They really should make a 12-step program for this sort of thing.
